As you all know, today is the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the US. Many sites have posted memorials to this world-changing event. CNN is one. Locate another and add your comments on how wide-spread use of the Internet has made everyone more aware of history as it unfolds. (Or has it?)

Another site includes abc.com. The Internet allows events to be known to all within in minutes. It is constantly updated, and people constantly read it.

I use msnbc.com because you can create your own e-mail addrees to e-mail your friends not better than yahoo.

Even www.yahoo.com used for searches also has it's own memorial and news for the event. The internet cannot be beat in delivering news around as quickly as it does.

another site with up to date info was cbsnews.com this site was constantly updated with different news about 9/11

this site www.ap.org/911 also posted Online Multimedia Exhibit to Commemorate the Fifth Anniversary of Terrorist Attacks,the exhibit features photographs taken the day of the attacks, side-by-side with images of the same sites taken in June 2006
